Red Pyramid

EGYPT: This is what the inside of a pyramid looks like. After a long and narrow angled descent from the outside, you arrive at the point where the video begins. The wooden stairway at the end of the second chamber leads to the elevated burial room of Sneferu, Khufu's father (he of the Great Pyramid at Giza fame). You also get a quick glimpse of the massive corbel-vaulted ceiling in the first chamber. The amount of weight it's holding back is astounding.

PANAMA: This is Shannon's favorite clip. She took this movie of a movie at the Miraflores Locks Visitor's Center and it gives you an idea of what it's like to traverse the canal...all in about 2 minutes.
